The more the merrier right? Zoom's insures groups of up to 25. That means more fun for less hassle.

No, not automatically. You must purchase their cruise pack in order to be covered for any medical treatment you receive on board and for helicopter evacuation should you require emergency medical assistance.

In order to be covered for winter sports including skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing or tubing (on groomed ski slopes) you must purchase Zoom’s Snow pack cover. Snow pack cover provides cover for overseas emergency medical and hospital expenses, cover for piste closure, bad weather and avalanche, and for loss or damage to your own snow sport equipment. You will also be covered for the value of any unused ski pass, ski hire or tuition fees following loss or theft of your ski pass, or you being unable to ski following accident or illness.

Yes you can reduce the standard excess of $200 by paying a $100 excess reduction fee.

Whether you intend to hit the golf course, or ride worry free on a cycling break, or head on a winter escape, Zoom has a wide range of additional extras available to purchase.

Zoom will not pay for any expenses due to the financial collapse of any transport, tour or accommodation provider.

Zoom doesn’t cover Non-Residents visiting New Zealand. However, we will cover temporary residents of NZ temporarily travelling overseas and who, at the date the certificate of insurance is issued: 1.) are aged 74 years and under; and 2.) hold a return ticket to New Zealand; and 3.) have a home in New Zealand to which they intend to return; and 4.) hold a current visa which will remain valid beyond the period of their journey; and -have private health insurance for the entire journey and beyond.

Zoom will cover you for any engine size you ride as long as you’re insured to do so in New Zealand. Just make sure you get your International Drivers Permit (IDP) before you leave! If you do not have a motorbike license then you are only insured to ride a moped or bike up to 50cc.

Having too much fun? No problems! You can extend your policy with Zoom as long as your original policy has not expired.

Yes Zoom will reimburse you for up to $5,000 or $8,000 for any excess or deductible which you become legally liable to pay under your rental vehicle hiring agreement. Note that you may only add or upgrade vehicle excess prior to picking up the car.
